Espn Plus, Disney Plus, Hulu

If you are signed up to Disney+, basic Hulu, ESPN+, or a combination of these services, the prices are set to increase on October 17, 2024. This latest round of Disney price increases will also impact select annual and bundle subscribers as well.

Both Disney+ Basic and basic Hulu are increasing to $9.99 a month each. Considering each service currently costs $7.99 a month, both are increasing by $2. If signed up to Disney+ Premium (No Ads), an additional $2 will take the price up to $15.99 a month. In contrast, Hulu (No Ads) is only increasing by $1 a month, up to $18.99 a month.

With the monthly price increasing, annual subscribers can also expect their prices to increase as well. For example, Hulu (With Ads) is increasing from $79.99 to $99.99 a year while Disney+ Premium is increasing from $139.99 to $159.99 a year.

If signed up to the ad-supported Disney Duo Basic bundle, the cost will increase from $9.99 to $10.99 a month. Duo Premium subscribers, however, appear to be exempt from this round of price increases, with their cost remaining at $19.99 a month. Trio bundle subscribers also appear to be unaffected this time.

ESPN+ is only increasing by $1, taking the price up to $11.99 a month. For those signed up on an annual basis, the price is increasing from $109.99 to $119.99 a year.

Here’s a reminder of those price changes.

This round of price increases arrive almost exactly a year to the day after the last round. Disney announced price increases for all three streaming services on August 9 of last year, with the price increases eventually taking effect in October – as is also the case this year.

Also similar to last year, this latest round of price increases will result in the cost of a Hulu Live TV subscription increasing in October as well.
