Hulu subscribers can currently add Starz to their plan for just $1.99 per month for the first three months, marking a significant savings over the usual cost. Furthermore, this deal is available to those on the basic Hulu subscription, so there is no need to be a Hulu Live TV customer to get Starz at the lower price.
Starz is a good option for those looking for a way way to expand their content with shows like Power, Outlander, American Gods, and P-Valley available to stream, Likewise, the streaming service also offers a decent selection of movies to choose from, including Fantasy Island, Venom, Bad Boys For Life, among others.
Starz typically costs $8.99 per month, but right now Hulu subscribers are being offered the option to add Starz for just $1.99 per month for the first three months. This represents a savings of $20.97 over the course of the three months. However, this is only a limited-time deal with the cheaper subscription only available until September 10.
Getting started with cheaper Starz
Hulu subscribers will likely be alerted by the service when they open the app or visit the Hulu website with a message highlighting the deal. For those subscribers, simply clicking on the link and agreeing to the deal will get them set up with Starz.
The deal is not only available to existing subscribers but also those who have yet to sign up for Hulu. A dedicated Hulu page for the deal is live and clicking through the link and setting up an account will add the $1.99 per month Starz subscription.
In terms of caveats, there are not too many and most of which are to be expected. For example, the deal is only available to ‘new and eligible returning’ Starz customers, although that’s specifically in reference to Starz through Hulu. In other words, anyone who has subscribed to Starz before, but not directly through Hulu, should still be eligible for the deal.
The other major caveat is that automatic billing is in place so, at the end of the three months the $1.99 subscription will automatically convert to an $8.99 per month subscription, unless canceled before.
