LG has launched a new lifestyle display under its StanbyME brand. The new StanbyME 2 Max is designed to be a lightweight display, making it possible to easily move from room to room when needed.

Running on webOS, the StanbyME 2 Max is a 32-inch 4K portable smart touchscreen display, making it the company’s biggest StanbyME to date.
As part of its portable design, the 32-inch 4K full touchscreen display is fully detachable and comes with a built-in battery. According to LG, the battery is good enough to offer up to 4.5 hours of cord-free playback.
The device also supports USB-C connectivity to enable external battery charging when needed.
As the device comes running on webOS, buyers can expect access to a variety of popular streaming apps, as well as more than 400 FAST channels through LG Channels.
Similar to the original StanbyME, the new version is designed for multiple use cases around the home, including as a main display for watching content in the living room or bedroom, as an easy-to-access display in the kitchen for following recipes, and for making video calls.
The new model also features the ability to display art when not used for video playback. This is made possible through support for LG Gallery+ and its more than 5,000 artworks — a first for the LG StanbyME lineup.
While the general idea and purpose hasn’t changed with the StanbyME 2 Max, the newer model aims to offer an improved experience through the use of a larger display and upgraded picture quality.
The LG StanbyME 2 Max is now available to pre-order from LG, and costs $1,299.99.
