The DashPass annual plan now includes a Max With Ads subscription at no additional cost, thanks to a new partnership between DoorDash and Warner Bros. Discovery. Considering the annual DashPass plan costs $96 a year, this makes DashPass and Max cheaper than a standalone Max With Ads subscription.
Beginning today, existing DashPass annual plan members can access the streaming service’s library at no additional cost. Existing members can head over to the “Manage Max Subscription” Page in their DoorDash account to redeem and activate their subscription.
If currently signed up to the monthly DashPass plan, it is possible to upgrade the membership to annual to gain access to the included Max subscription.
For those totally new to DoorDash, considering a standalone Max With Ads subscription costs $9.99 a month, signing up for the DoorDash annual plan at $96 brings the cost of both DoorDash and Max down to just $8 a month on average.
Whether a new or existing DoorDash member, it is possible to upgrade the Max With Ads subscription to Ad-Free. The “Upgrade to Max Ad-Free” option can also be found under “Manage Max Subscription” in the DoorDash account and costs an additional $10.99 a month.
At this price, upgrading to Ad-Free is only $6 cheaper than the cost of Max Ad-Free when signing up for a standalone subscription.
This isn’t the only Max parentship announced recently. Earlier this month, Warner Bros. Discovery partnered with Chegg to provide Chegg Study and Chegg Study Pack subscribers with a Max With Ads subscription in the U.S.
