New and noteworthy on Max in October

Murder In Boston: Roots, Rampage & Reckoning Documentary | 3 Episodes

Murder In Boston: Roots, Rampage & Reckoning is an HBO Original documentary series that explores the enduring, painful toll the 1989 Stuart case had on those involved, Boston race relations, and how a community can be affected in a rush to justice. The first episode of Murder In Boston: Roots, Rampage & Reckoning is available to stream from December 4th on Max.

Leo Reich: Literally Who Cares?! Comedy Special

For comedy fans, Leo Reich: Literally Who Cares?! is an HBO Original comedy special and the comedian’s first solo stand-up special. Expect a blend of songs, anecdotes, and anxious non-sequiturs while raising awareness of important social and political causes. Leo Reich: Literally Who Cares?! is available to stream from December 16th on Max.

Time Bomb Y2K Documentary | 1h 24m

In the run up to New Year’s Eve in 1999, there were concerns over how technology would handle the switchover to the year 2000, and this is exactly what the HBO Original documentary Time Bomb Y2K takes a closer look at. Crafted entirely through archival footage, the documentary explores how modern life has been dramatically transformed by the digital revolution. Time Bomb Y2K is available to stream from December 30th on Max.

Other new and noteworthy titles arriving in December include Gary Gulman: Born on 3rd Base (12/21), the Max Original documentary Oprah and The Color Purple Journey (12/28), as well as the season finales of Julia, Bookie, and Rap Sh!t.
