Fubo subscribers will be happy to hear that NBC and a variety of other NBCU networks are coming back to the live TV streaming service. The return of the channels is part of a new distribution agreement between Fubo and NBCUniversal.

The new deal brings to an end a dispute originating back to November of last year. At that time, the two companies were unable to agree a deal and this resulted in Fubo subscribers losing access to all NBCUniversal networks.
With a deal now agreed, those networks are making their return to Fubo over the next few weeks, beginning with Telemundo and Universo. Starting today, Fubo subscribers are able to stream the two NBCUniversal Spanish-language networks.
According to Fubo, NBCU’s English-language networks, including the new NBC Sports Network (NBCSN), regional sports networks, and new FAST channels, are due to be added to the Fubo channel lineup in the coming weeks.
“We’re thrilled to announce the return of NBCUniversal networks to Fubo, given their robust portfolio of top-tier sports, entertainment and news,” said Todd Mathers, executive vice president, content strategy and acquisition, Fubo. “Our agreement with NBCUniversal underscores Fubo’s promise to bring consumers more programming, value and choice through multiple packaging options.”
With Fubo now offering more plans than even before, including a free tier, here’s a closer look at which plans will be getting which NBC networks.
- NBC: Fubo’s base English-language TV plan and Fubo Sports plan
- Telemundo: Fubo’s base English-language TV plan and Latino plan
- Bravo: Fubo’s base English-language TV plan
- Universo: Fubo’s Latino Plan, Spanish-language Latino Plus add-on package and English-language Extra package
- NBC Sports RSNs (Bay Area, Boston, California, Philadelphia): Fubo’s base English-language TV plan
- NBCSN: Fubo’s base English-language TV plan and Fubo Sports plan
It is worth noting that, in the aftermath of the loss of the NBCU channels, Fubo lowered the price of its Pro and Elite plans.
With those lower monthly prices still in effect today, it currently remains unclear if the return of the NBC channels will also now result in a return to the higher prices.
