Disney+: Everything New To Watch In April 2024

Disney+ has plenty of new movies, episodes, and specials arriving in April 2024. Some of the titles to look out for over the next few weeks include Wish on April 2, an extended-length special of Bluey on April 14, Tiger and Tiger on the Rise on Earth Day (April 22). This is in addition to new episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch and X-Men ’97.

New and noteworthy on Disney+ in April

Wish | Family/Fantasy | 1h 35m

One of the big new releases this month is Wish. Featuring the voices of Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine and Alan Tudyk, follow along as Asha and Star confront the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico, as they look to save Asha’s community. Wish is available to stream April 2 on Disney+.

Bluey: The Sign | Special | 28m

Bluey is a force to be reckoned with in terms of watchtime on Disney+, so fans of the show will be happy to know that a new The Sign special is being released. In fact, this is the first extended-length special of the show featuring the lovable and inexhaustible Blue Heeler dog. Bluey: The Sign is available to stream April 14 on Disney+.

Tiger / Tiger on the Rise | Documentaries

Disneynature is releasing two new documentaries for Earth Day and both celebrate the tiger. Tiger, narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, follows a young tigress raising her cubs in the fabled forests of India. Tiger on the Rise, narrated by Blair Underwood, is a companion film to Tiger and takes a look at the remarkable comeback of one of the world’s most iconic animals. Both Tiger and Tiger on the Rise are available to stream April 22 on Disney+.

New episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch are available to stream on April 3, April 10, April 17 and April 24. New episodes of X-Men ’97 are available to stream on April 3, April 10 and April 17.

New to Disney+

For those new to Disney+ and now considering signing up to watch any of the titles listed above, a subscription costs $7.99 a month with ads or $13.99 a month without ads. There is also the option to bundle Disney+ with Hulu for $9.99 a month with ads or $19.99 a month without ads.

For those also wanting access to sports content, the Disney Trio bundle brings together Disney+, basic Hulu and ESPN+ for $14.99 (with ad-supported Disney+ and ad-supported Hulu) or $24.99 (with ad-free Disney+ and ad-free Hulu).

Lastly, a Hulu Live TV subscription is another way to watch Disney+ content. Hulu Live TV subscribers get access to more than 95 live TV channels, Disney+, basic Hulu, and ESPN+ for a minimum of $76.99 a month.
