Roku has now announced two new streaming players, the Roku Streaming Stick and the Roku Streaming Stick Plus. Compared to other streaming stick players, Roku says these are the most compact on the market, coming in at 35% smaller than sticks offered by other brands.
Both new streaming sticks are available to pre-order now in the U.S., and will be available to purchase from May 6, 2025.
Roku Streaming Stick

The Roku Streaming Stick is the company’s latest entry-level streaming stick player and will replace the Roku Express. Priced at $29.99, the Roku Streaming Stick offers a typical Roku OS experience, including access to free programming, and a voice remote.
Roku Streaming Stick Plus

The Roku Streaming Stick Plus is designed to offer everything the Roku Streaming Stick does and more, and is set to replace the Roku Express 4K+. As this is a 4K player, it will be the better option for those looking to stream content at the higher resolution. The Roku Streaming Stick Plus costs $39.99.
In addition to the U.S., Roku has confirmed that both players are set to go on sale in a variety of other countries in the coming months, including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and the United Kingdom.
