Select Optimum customers can soon redeem a free six-month Disney+ and Hulu bundle subscription. With both of these streaming services being offered for free, customers have the opportunity to save around $65 over the first six months.
The bundle promotion is set to become available from next week and will be offered to eligible Optimum Extra TV, Everything TV, and Optimum Internet customers. After redeeming the six-month subscription, Optimum customers can then access the Disney+ and Hulu catalogs directly through the Disney+ and Hulu apps.
As the subscription is being managed by Optimum, customers will continue to be billed by Optimum for their bundle, unless canceled, once the complimentary period comes to an end.
“We know that our customers want more optionality when it comes to their connectivity and entertainment services, which is why we are excited to collaborate with Disney to deliver a new bundled offer that helps streamline consumers’ Optimum services and their streaming subscriptions,” said Mike Parker, President of Consumer Services at Optimum.
As part of the same announcement, Optimum explained that this is only be the first of many similar promotions that the company plans to offer to customers.
“As we continue to enhance and evolve our bundle offerings and add-on experience suite, we are enabling customers to build their own curated content selection through Optimum – giving them more choice, flexibility and value to watch the content they want, how they want it,” added Parker.
There is more than one version of the Disney Bundle available, and Optimum will be providing customers with access to the basis bundle for free. In other words, Optimum customers can expect to sit through ad breaks when watching content on either streaming service.
