Philo Subscribers Can Now Add Hallmark+ To Their Live TV Package

Philo has added Hallmark+ as a premium add-on, offering subscribers another way to access the Hallmark streaming service, formerly Hallmark Movies Now. Considering Hallmark+ is home to a large catalog of original Christmas movies, the arrival of the add-on is perfectly timed for the Holidays.

Hallmark Movies Now was officially rebranded as Hallmark+ in September. While this also resulted in a price increase (up to $7.99 a month), Hallmark+ is a more robust product. For example, subscribers not only get access to the Hallmark streaming catalog, but also coupons, rewards, exclusive offers, and much more.

With Philo also charging $8 a month for Hallmark+, it won’t be any cheaper to subscribe through Philo than through Hallmark+. However, for those already using Philo on a regularly basis, the option to combine the subscriptions can make management of both services (and their monthly subscription fees) a little easier.

Similar to Philo’s other premium add-ons, Hallmark+ also comes with a 7-day free trial, making it possible to test out the streaming service before making the first payment.

Philo subscribers interested in giving the new add-on a spin can enable it beginning today through the website – all of Philo’s add-ons can be enabled or disabled through the Manage Add-ons section (under Account). If Hallmark+ is not showing up as an option yet, this is likely to be a temporary issue and fixed once the rollout is complete.

Philo’s free service doesn’t currently offer the option to subscribe to standalone streaming services so a paid Core or Legacy plan is required to subscribe to Hallmark+ through Philo.

For those completely new to Philo, the company’s Core live TV package costs just $28 a month. As Core also now includes AMC+, subscribers can get access to more than 70 paid channels, AMC+ and Hallmark+ for as little as $36 a month.
