Amazon has confirmed that the next Prime Day will take place on July 16 and 17. Similar to past years, Amazon’s 10th Prime Day event will include savings on Prime Video Channels, movies and shows.
While all of the deals have yet to be announced, and might not be before the start of the event, Amazon has confirmed some deals will be available early, including the dropping of the price of select Prime Video Channels, including Crunchyroll, MGM+ and Starz, down to just $0.99 a month for the first two months.
Amazon has also confirmed a separate early deal will see the cost of a subscription to AMC+ and Paramount+ with Showtime drop by 50% for the first two months. For reference, Amazon is already offering a Prime Video deal on Starz, lowering the price down to $1.99 a month for the first three months.
Generally speaking, Amazon does also tend to offer discounts on its range of Fire TV products, making Prime Day a good opportunity for anyone looking to pick up a new streaming player soon.
“Prime Day is a celebration of the value we bring to members all year long, and features millions of deals across more than 35 product categories as well as discounts on Amazon devices, quality entertainment, groceries, travel, and more during the event,” said Jamil Ghani, vice president of Amazon Prime.
As a reminder, Prime Day deals are typically reserved for Prime members so those looking to make the most of the sales event may want to consider signing up for Prime before the event begins on July 16, or before any of the early deals become available.
