Roku Deal Drops Acorn TV, MGM+, Shudder, Starz And More Down To 99 Cents

The Roku Channel has dropped the price of various premium subscriptions, including Acorn TV, MGM+, Shudder, and Starz, down to $0.99 a month for the first two months. Depending on the premium subscription, this deal could save as much as $8 a month, or $16 over the two discounted months.

Roku is offering these discounted premium subscriptions as part of its National Streaming Day celebrations. Initially established by Roku in 2014, National Streaming Day (May 20) has gone on to become a good day to get streaming hardware and services at a cheaper price than usual.

Right now, for example, all of the following subscriptions are down to just 99 cents.

In addition to these 99 cent deals, Roku is also currently offering BritBox and Hallmark Movies Now at $1.99 a month each for the first two months. All of these deals are only available to new subscribers, and are good through 11:59 p.m. PST on May 22.

As the discounted price only applies to the first two months of a subscription, the subscriber will automatically be charged the usual higher rate (up to $9.99 depending on the streaming service) after the second discounted month, unless the subscription is canceled.

If you also happen to be in need of a new streaming player, Roku is also offering savings on many of its models. For example, you can now save $10 on the Roku Express 4K+ (down to $29.99), $15 on the Roku Streaming Stick 4K (down to $34.99) and $10 on the Roku Ultra (down to $89.99).
