Roku is now offering a free month of Apple TV+ to new subscribers. Similar to last year, Roku is offering the free month as part of its ‘National Streaming Day‘ 2025 celebrations.

Considering Apple only tends to offer seven days for free, this is a good way to check out the streaming service for a lot longer than usual without paying.

The free trial provides access to the full Apple TV+ library, including popular new titles like Murderbot, The Studio, and Your Friends & Neighbors, as well as season two of the hit series Severance.

To lock down that free month, Roku users just need to add the Apple TV app to their device. Once the Apple TV channel has been installed on a connected device, the extended 30-day free trial should be available when signing up for an Apple TV+ subscription.

Following the most recent price increase, an Apple TV+ subscription now costs $9.99 a month. While this is how much new subscribers will save on the first month, the subscription will automatically renew at the current price following the 30-day free trial, unless canceled.

For reference, this is not the only way Roku is celebrating ‘Streaming Day’ this year, as the company has also discounted the cost of many popular streaming services by as much as 90%. For example, Roku users can sign up to services for as low as 99 cents a month for the first two months.

Unlike Roku’s other National Streaming Day deals, which are due to end on May 21st, Roku users have up until June 26th to secure their free month of Apple TV+.
