Signing Up To Apple TV+ On Roku Right Now Gets You A Free Month

Roku Apple TV Plus One Month Free

If you happen to use a Roku device, you can currently sign up to Apple TV+ and get the first month for free. Roku is offering this free month as part of its 2024 National Streaming Day deals.

While Apple already offers new Apple TV+ subscribers a free trial, it typically only offers seven days for free. With this promotion extending the free period to one month, it is a good way to test Apple’s streaming service out for longer than usual.

As this is a Roku promotion, it is only available to redeem on Roku devices. Those interested simply need to install the Apple TV+ app on the device and sign up as usual. So long as they are a new subscriber, they should see that they are automatically eligible for the extended free trial before completing the signup process.

With the one-month free trial promotion ending May 22, Roku users only have a few days to sign up and redeem the offer. It is also worth keeping in mind that this subscription will automatically renew at the usual rate (currently $9.99/month in the U.S.) after the free trial, unless canceled.

For reference, Roku is also currently offering three months of Apple Music for free as well. The Apple Music offer is also good through May 22 and can be redeemed in the same way – by downloading the Apple Music app on a Roku device and signing up as a new subscriber.

These are not the only National Streaming Day deals Roku is offering right now, as The Roku Channel has also dropped the price of a number of premium subscriptions, including Acorn TV, MGM+, Shudder, and Starz, down to $0.99 cents for the first two months. Depending on the streaming service, this deal could save you as much as $8 a month.
