Three Spanish-language FAST channels from Curiosity are now available on Samsung TV Plus. While Curiosity previously confirmed these channels were coming, they are now live for users in the U.S.
Launched in partnership with Estrella, the three new FAST channels are Curiosity Español, Curiosity Animales, and Curiosity Motores, and all three can now be found in the Latino section of the Samsung TV Plus live guide.
Curiosity Español offers access to history, science, and space content, Curiosity Animales provides a closer look at the wild animal kingdom, and Curiosity Motores caters to all kinds of motor enthusiasts.
In addition to the three Spanish-language channels, the Curiosity Now FAST channel has also now gone live on Samsung TV Plus in English in Great Britain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and The Netherlands. Next year, Curiosity Now will go live in The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, Sweden, and Spain, and with localized content in each country.
“Launching Curiosity Now on Samsung TV Plus marks a very significant step towards our mission of enhancing the accessibility of high-quality factual television to audiences worldwide who are hungry for real stories about real people and events,” said Jay Sodha, Curiosity’s VP of Business Development and Partnerships.
While the Curiosity Now FAST channel is not yet available through Samsung TV Plus in the U.S., it was added to Vizio’s Free WatchFree+ streaming service back in July. The free channel can also be found on Plex, as well as on LG and TCL smart TVs in the U.S.
In related news, Curiosity University, the streaming service focused on ad-free educational programming, is now available as an add-on through Amazon Prime Video.
