Sling has now added the MeTV network to its Sling Orange and Sling Blue live TV plans. With the new Sling Select live TV package having launched with the channel, Select subscribers also now have access to the network.
Thanks to the addition of MeTV, Sling subscribers now have access to a lot more classic television content. In particular, MeTV is a good destination for shows from the ‘50s through the mid-’80s.
Examples of some of the series you can catch on MeTV include The Andy Griffith Show, The Beverley Hillbillies, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Hogan’s Heroes, The Honeymooners, In the Heat of the Night, Perry Mason, MASH, Matlock, The Riffleman, Star Trek, The Twilight Zone and Wagon Train.
In addition to all of these popular classic shows, MeTV viewers also get access to a variety of Saturday morning cartoons, including Popeye, Tom and Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, and Bugs Bunny.
With MeTV included in Orange, Blue, and Select base packages, subscribers to any of Sling’s paid live TV packages can now access any of this content at no additional cost.
For those new to Sling Select, this is a brand new live TV package by Sling. The price starts at $19.99 a month and subscribers get access to more than 10 live TV channels, including MeTV.
Sling Select also includes access to local channels in areas where Sling supports local channels. However, an additional monthly surcharge is applied in these areas, with the exact amount dependent on the number of available local channels.
Those signing up to the new Day, Week, and Weekend Pass by Sling options will also now have access to MeTV for the duration of their paid pass.
