Sling is currently offering golf fans the chance to win an all-expense paid trip to the 2024 U.S. Open. This promotion is part of the wider Sling Rewards program that Sling launched earlier this year, offering users the chance to be rewarded just for watching content.
While Sling Rewards has typically offered the chance to win cash prizes so far, the launch of an experience-based prize highlights the scope of Sling Rewards. The all-expense paid trip includes two tickets to the U.S. Open, lodging at Pinehurst, a golf swag bag, a photo opportunity and a $500 gift card.
The rules remain the same for entering this latest prize, with Sling users gaining 10 entries automatically after watching for 30 minutes in a single day. Likewise, it is possible to increase entries by creating ‘watch streaks’ — watching for 30 minutes on consecutive days. The longer the watch streak, the more entries a user will accumulate. The entry period officially started May 1 and will remain open through May 7, so those that have already watched for at least 30 minutes a day for either of the past two days should have already begun automatically collecting entries.
In addition to the U.S. Open Golf Experience prize, Sling is still offering the chance to win cash rewards as well, with the latest round continuing through the end of May. At which point, someone will win the $10,000 cash grand prize, while twenty will win $500 each and 125 will win a free month of Sling TV.
If new to Sling TV, the live TV service is also currently offering new subscribers half of their first month, taking the price down to as low as $20.
