Update: This issue has now been resolved. Sling did not explain what caused the issue, but did confirm the problem has been fixed.

If you’ve been trying to use Sling TV today, you may have encountered an error message stopping you from accessing the service. Sling is currently experiencing a technical issue and has confirmed that it is working on a fix for the problem.

Right now, it remains unclear what is causing the issue. With no cause known, it is also unclear how long a fix will take to roll out and reach all affected users. In the meantime, Sling says it is actively working on a solution and thanks subscribers for their patience.

“We are aware there are users experiencing issues streaming some channels.

Our team is actively working on this issue.

Thank you for your patience.”

From what we understand, the issue only seems to be affecting some channels, so it is possible that some subscribers may not have noticed an issue at all. If, however, they switch to a different channel then they may encounter the same issue as others.

With this being a problem with Sling, there is nothing that affected subscribers can do right now other than wait for the fix to be implemented.
