TCL has added the Jubao FAST channel to its TCLtv+ lineup. The new channel provides users of the free service with access to a varied selection of Chinese-language entertainment.

The free channel has been added as a result of a new partnership announced today between TCL and International Media Distribution (IMD), a division of NBCUniversal, which provides access to international content and programming.

Speaking of content, the addition of Jubao now means TCLtv+’s users have access to a 24/7 lineup of Asian entertainment, including bingeworthy dramas like The Queen of News, Modern Dynasty, and The Heir to the Throne, blockbuster movies like Shock Wave and Shock Wave 2, sci-fi shows like Three-Body, and a variety of docuseries.

The launch of the Jubao channel on TCL further expands our diverse content offerings with direct appeal to growing Chinese diaspora audiences. This extensive library will provide viewers free access to a broad range of popular titles, across multiple genres, offering something for everyone,” said Catherine Zhang, VP, Content Service & Partnership, TCL.

This channel is not only for Chinese-speaking viewers either, as Jubao features content in Chinese with English subtitles, as well as select English-language content.

As the market leader in multicultural television content, IMD created Jubao to bring top quality Asian entertainment to both in-language audiences and English-first speakers at the perfect price point: totally free. We’re thrilled to partner with TCLtv+ to bring a new offering to its increasingly robust multicultural content slate,” said Katie Daniels, IMD’s Vice President of Business Development and Content Acquisition.
