The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is now streaming for free on Samsung TV Plus. This marks the first time the popular Prime Video series has been available to stream without the need for a paid subscription to a streaming service.
Access to the first season is available to Samsung TV Plus users in the US, Canada, Brazil, the UK, and Germany. In the United States, the series can be watched at any time on-demand, or live on various live channels, including The Rings of Power (channel 1003), Movie Hub (channel 1200), Movie Hub West (channel 1201), Movie Hub Action (channel 1204), and All Action (channel 1505)
As a reminder, Samsung TV Plus is available to access on Galaxy Mobile devices and Samsung smart TVs, as well as through the Samsung TV Plus website on most devices with access to a web browser.
The availability of the show comes just ahead of the release of season two. In fact, the ability to stream for free through Samsung TV Plus is only available for two weeks beginning today, which takes us right up to the release of the new season.
The first episode of the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is available to stream August 29 on Prime Video, which will require a subscription to watch.
Prime Video costs $8.99 a month as a standalone service following a 30-day free trial. Prime Video is also included for free with an Amazon Prime membership, which starts at $14.99 a month or $139 a year.
