Vizio has now announced the launch of a Fall Fest collection of content that smart TV owners can watch via WatchFree+. Similar to AVOD streaming services offered by other companies, WatchFree+ is a way to watch shows, movies, and other videos for free. Unlike some of those other services, however, a Vizio smart TV is required to watch WatchFree+.

WatchFree+ is a relatively complete solution for those looking for free content. Not only does it provide an on-demand library of videos that are available to watch at any time, but there’s also a selection of WatchFree+ channels that consumers can tune in to for more of a live TV experience. The selection of content has continually expanded over recent months and that’s now set to continue as 2022 draws to a close.

The Fall Fest collection is a mixture of exclusive TV shows, fan-favorites, and movies that are available to stream on Vizio smart TVs. According to Vizio, these titles have never been seen before on the company’s Vizio Features channels, and can be accessed by clicking on the Fall Fest banners on the SmartCast home screen. Once clicked, users will be presented with a “curated collection of Fall programming” that’s available to watch via WatchFree+.

In terms of what users can expect, the Fall Fest collection includes Cinedigm’s Boston George: Famous Without the Fortune five-part docuseries, a two-part feature documentary Haunted Gold Rush, an original three-part mini-series Sanitarium, and Season 2 of Hotel Paranormal. A new Space Science Now channel (552) has also been added, offering access to a variety of space and science documentaries and series.

A selection of Vizio curated channels have been added as well, including Investigation (channel 350) for true crime fans, American Classics (channel 201) which will be showing a selection of classic movies between November 1st and 5th, Fork & Flight (channel 500) for food shows, Kick Back (channel 200) which is filled with 44 action-packed movies, and House (channel 501) for those in need of more home makeover shows.

Once again, Vizio’s new Fall Fest programming lineup can be found on the home screen of all SmartCast TVs, or by opening up the WatchFree+ app.
