Vizio‘s WatchFree+ will be the streaming home of this summer’s The Women’s Cup soccer games. As WatchFree+ is a completely free streaming service, these soccer matches will be available to stream for free.
This is not the first time Vizio has hosted the tournament on its free streaming service, as last year’s games were also exclusively available to stream on WatchFree+.
In terms of this year’s tournament, eight games will be available to watch this summer via WatchFree+, with all of the games shown on The Women’s Cup Channel (ch. #1301) between July 16th and July 26th.
In addition to the live games, the dedicated channel will also feature archival games from previous tournaments, as well as game highlights, interviews, and more.
“The Women’s Cup is home to the best professional teams and players in the world,” said John Paul Reynal, President and CEO, “We are honored to renew our partnership with VIZIO as the exclusive viewing destination for the tournament in the U.S. so that millions will be able to enjoy the best Women’s club soccer competition on the planet.”
Although last year’s tournament was also available to stream on WatchFree+, it is worth noting that there’s been a major change in device support since then.
With WatchFree+ also now available to access on Android and iOS mobile devices through the Vizio app, even more soccer fans will be able to watch this year’s games.
