Xfinity customers in the U.S. with access to Comcast’s X1 set-top box or Xfinity’s Xumo Stream Box now have the option of gaming through Amazon Luna. The two companies announced their latest content partnership today, confirming Xfinity device support for the cloud gaming service is now live.

Xfinity customers with an eligible device can check Amazon Luna out by using the “Luna” voice command with their voice remote. They will then need to either sign in with their Amazon Prime account or a Luna Premium subscription to start gaming.
While Amazon Luna is not free, Prime members do get access to some games at no cost.
For example, Luna offers Prime members free access to a rotating library of games, which currently includes Hogwarts Legacy and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. This is in addition to a selection of GameNight party games like Courtroom Chaos: Starring Snoop Dogg and The Jackbox Party Pack 9.

Event though there’s no need for additional devices to access Luna, Xfinity device users will still need access to a controller. That’s to play the main games anyway, as Luna’s GameNight party games can be played without a controller by scanning a QR code and using a mobile phone instead.
Luna offers its own controller for purchase but it is also possible to pair and use other compatible Bluetooth controllers.
