Reelz+ is now available as a Prime Video add-on. While subscribing to Reelz+ through Prime Video won’t make the cost any cheaper, it can be a good way for Prime members to manage the additional subscription.
Reelz+ launched earlier this year as the new streaming home of a variety of popular Reelz shows, including On Patrol: Live and On Patrol: First Shift.
In addition to on-demand content, Reelz+ subscribers can also watch the live Reelz network, making it possible to watch On Patrol: Live every Friday and Saturday Night without a live TV package.
With Reelz+ also now available through Prime Video, Prime members can see what the streaming service has to offer. Signing up through Prime Video costs $4.99 a month, the same price as signing up directly.
As Prime Video also offers a seven-day free trial to Reelz+, it is possible to test out the service before paying for the first month.
Considering Reelz+ is still a fairly new streaming service, device support is a little limited right now. For example, the app is only available to download on Fire TV, Roku, iOS and Android mobile devices.
As a result, those currently using an Apple TV or Google TV player, or an LG TV or Samsung TV, might want to consider signing up through Prime Video and accessing Reelz+ through the Prime Video app.
“Expanding our streaming reach to Prime Video is a big step for Reelz and for subscribers who can now join our cable, satellite and growing list of streaming subscribers to watch live policing every Friday and Saturday night as it happens on On Patrol: Live,” said Stan E. Hubbard, CEO of Reelz.
