In news you probably weren’t expecting today, DirecTV Stream is now available on Peloton Bike, Tread and Row machines. With the support now available, DirecTV Stream subscribers can watch live TV while taking part in a workout routine.
The ability to watch the live TV service while working out is made possible through an all-new ‘Just Guidance‘ Peloton feature.
The arrival of Peloton machine support adds to the growing number of DirecTV Stream supported platforms, which already included a variety of smart TVs, streaming players, mobile devices and more.
DirecTV Stream isn’t the first live TV service to go live on Peloton machines. Late last year, YouTube TV was added as an entertainment option on Peloton Bike, Tread and Row.
As a reminder DirecTV Stream is currently offering its ‘best price ever’ deal. The promotion offers a saving of at least $30 on any DirecTV Stream plan for the first four months, reducing the cost down to as low as $49.99 a month for a live TV package with access to more than 90 channels.
If books are more your thing, Amazon has confirmed in a separate announcement today that the ability to read Kindle books is also now available on Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, and Tread+.
