With the MLS regular season now underway, an MLS Season Pass is the best way to stream all the games. What’s more, new and eligible returning subscribers can current get a whole month for free, thanks to Lionel Messi.
Similar to last year, Messi recently shared a promo code for the free month on social media. As long as new and returning subscribers sign up through the correct link they will get access to a one-month free trial of MLS Season Pass.
As a reminder, Apple holds the global rights to MLS Season Pass, so the free month is pretty much available to everyone, and regardless of where they are located.
For those unsure of whether MLS Season Pass is the best option for them right now, the free month is set to remain available through September 30, 2025. As a result, there’s plenty of time to think about it and redeem the offer at a later date.
Regardless of whether signing up now or later, and once the free month comes to an end, the subscription will auto-renew at the normal rate. For those already signed up to Apple TV+, that’s $12.99 a month. For those without access to Apple’s streaming service, the subscription will auto-renew at the usual $14.99/mo price.
If also considering signing up to Apple TV+ to watch Apple’s library of Originals, Apple is currently running a promotion which reduces the cost of a subscription down to $3 a month for the first three months. This discount results in a $7 monthly saving, and a $21 saving over all three discounted month.
Unlike the free month of MLS Season Pass, the ability to sign up to Apple TV+ at the discounted rate is due to expire on April 24, 2025.
