YouTube TV is currently offering new subscribers a 21-day free trial and the first month for only $43.99 if they stay on as a paid subscriber afterwards. All in all, this is one of the better free trial offers that have surfaced recently, although time is of the essence with this YouTube TV deal.

Even since the service launched, YouTube TV has remained a popular live TV streaming solution. However, over the years it has gone from being one of the least expensive to one of the most. At the moment, a standard YouTube TV subscription costs $64.99 per month and typically only comes with a seven-day free trial. Occasionally, the Google-owned live TV service extends the free trial length and most often to around 14 days.

Right now, new subscribers can not only dramatically increase the standard length of the free trial, but also save on the cost of the first month which makes this a deal on top of a deal. Even for those who don’t become paid subscribers and benefit from the additional $21 savings, they’re still getting a much longer free trial period than what’s usually on offer.

YouTube TV’s Cyber Week deal

YouTube TV has launched a ‘Cyber Week’ deal which extends the free trial length to 21 days. In addition, subscribers who stay with the service will only be billed $43.99 per month for the first month. After which, the price will increase to the standard $64.99 per month. To take advantage of the deal, simply head over to the YouTube TV website, click or tap on the “Try It Free” option, sign in with a Google account and confirm location. Note, this will determine the YouTube TV home network area.

Once signed in, the user will be redirected to a “Base Plan” page which shows the channels included with the plan. On the right, the plan price will be listed along with a 14-day free trial (at the moment YouTube TV is also offering all new subscribers 14 days instead of 7). Underneath this, simply click on the “Have a promo code?” tab and enter QUHVZTAYH3HA. This will increase the free trial length to 21 days and also reduce the price down to $43.99 for the first month.

From here, it is just a matter of completing the sign up process by including any optional add-ons and confirming the subscription and payment method.

Caveats to the 21-day deal

As to be expected, there are a few things to be aware of and the first is the availability period. The deal went live at 9 am PT on December 1 and will remain available until 11:59 pm PT on December 9, 2020. So long as the consumer signs up before then, they should be able to secure both the longer free trial and the cheaper first month.

Another caveat is the deal is only available to new subscribers. This not only means those who aren’t current YouTube TV subscribers, but also those who haven’t been in the past. For reference, this also includes anyone who has signed up to a YouTube TV free trial, but didn’t become a paid subscriber.

Other than that, the rest of the restrictions are to be expected, such as living in the U.S. and being at least 18 years of age. Although, it might also be worth knowing this deal can’t be combined with any other YouTube TV promotion, including the option of getting a Chromecast with Google TV for free.

Overall, for those unsure of whether YouTube TV is right for them, this is a great way to find out without spending anything for the first few weeks. Even then, a $21 discount on the first month is the equivalent to an additional ten days worth of live TV. In this sense, those who subscribe are basically paying for three weeks, but getting access to YouTube TV for around seven weeks.

Depending on the web browser you are using and any add-ons, you may have a pop-up blocker working to prevent this. Right-click the link, copy it, and then manually open the page.
