The cost of a Peacock Premium subscription is set to massively increase in price next week. Beginning July 23, the cost of a subscription will increase by $3 a month to $10.99 a month.

While that might not sound all that expensive, it is worth keeping in mind this is for the standard Peacock Premium plan, Peacock’s ad-supported plan.

With an increase in the monthly price, the cost of an annual Peacock Premium plan is also set to increase, accordingly. From July 23, the annual plan will increase by $30, taking the cost up to $109.99 a year.

It is not just the ad-supported plan that’s increasing either. The ad-free Premium Plus plan is also set to increase at the same time and by the same amount.

This will result in the cost of the Peacock Premium plan rising from $13.99 to $16.99 a month. Likewise, the annual Premium Plus plan will increase from $139.99 to $169.99 a year.

Typical of streaming service price increases, Peacock is giving existing customers a month to get used to the new rates. Depending on an subscriber’s individual billing cycle, existing subscribers can expect their price to increase on or after August 22, 2025.

The Largest Peacock Price Increase So Far

Just like most other streaming services, Peacock has routinely increased in price. In fact, our tracking of Peacock’s price increases highlights that both previous price increase arrived in July.

However, neither of the previous increases were as large as this one. In July 2023, for example, the price of the ad-supported Premium plan increased by $1 a month, and the cost of Premium Plus increased by $2 a month.

Likewise, in July 2024, the cost of the ad-supported plan increased by $2 a month, as did the cost of the Premium Plus plan.

With $3 added this time around, the cost of a Peacock Premium subscription has increased massively, and regardless of whether subscribed to the Premium or Premium Plus tier.
