At IAB NewFronts 2025, Samsung confirmed plans to launch its own television network on Samsung TV Plus. As Samsung TV Plus is a completely free streaming service, access to the new ‘Samsung Television Network’ will also be completely free to users.
In terms of what viewers can expect, the new network is set to provide access to “a curated selection of Samsung TV Plus’ most in-demand programming,” including live sports, music, movies, and late-night programming.
As examples, Samsung says the channel will host content from David Letterman and Conan O’Brien, as well as series like Killing Eve. The new network is also set to be the exclusive home of the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming Living the Dream tour, with the channel featuring performances, behind-the-scenes moments, and songs performed live.
“Through deep insights and personalized curation, we’re delivering the content audiences love in an unbeatable format. We’re rewriting the rules of streaming and teaming up with A-list talent to bring exclusive entertainment to the biggest screen in the home. This strategy has fueled more than 30% viewership growth this year, and with our newly announced partnerships, we’re positioning Samsung TV Plus for even greater momentum and market leadership in the year ahead,” said Salek Brodsky, SVP and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus.
Samsung is also positioning the new Samsung Television Network as a great option for advertisers, allowing them to tap the full power of Samsung’s TV ecosystem, which includes visibility on the Samsung home screen, Samsung TV Plus UI, and interactive ads within commercial breaks.
Along with the Samsung Television Network, Samsung also confirmed that a new The Ringer FAST channel from Spotify is coming to Samsung TV Plus as well. This FAST channel will provide access to a curated lineup of video podcast episodes, including Book of Basketball 2.0 with Bill Simmons, The Rewatchables, Higher Learning, and The Ringer-Verse.
Samsung TV Plus users can also expect additional FAST channels to launch in the future in partnership with various popular creators, including Michelle Khare, Smosh, The Try Guys, Epic Gardening, The Sorry Girls, and Donut Media.
