A Year Of Walmart+ (Includes Paramount+) Is Only $49 Right Now

Walmart has once again lowered the price of its Walmart+ membership to $49 for the first year. At this price, new and returning members are saving 50% on the usual $98 a year cost.

In addition to free shipping with no minimum order, and free shipping from a local store, Walmart+ members also get access to Paramount+ for free. Although members only get access to the Paramount+ Essential (with ads) tier, a standalone Essential subscription typically costs $5.99 a month.

In other words, this deal offers a good way to lock in a year of Paramount+, along with all of the extra benefits included with a Walmart+ membership, for less than the cost of Paramount+ on its own.

The ability to get a Walmart+ subscription for just $49 is available now through the Walmart website and no promo code is required. According to Walmart, this latest 50% off annual deal is due to end July 18, 2024.

One of the downsides of this deal is that new and returning members cannot current combine a free trial with the cheaper annual plan. Walmart+ typically comes with a 30-day free trial and that free trial can only be secured if opting to skip the 50% offer. As a result, those signing up today at the cheaper rate will need to pay the full $49 for the year when joining.

As a reminder, Paramount+ is due to increase in price next month. Beginning August 20, the cost of the Essential plan will rise to $7.99, making the current Walmart+ deal an even better opportunity to save ahead of that price increase.
