Bally Sports is now FanDuel Sports Network. Diamond Sports Group and FanDuel announced a “broad, long-term commercial partnership” late last week that includes the rebranding of the collection of sports networks.

The announcement confirmed that the rebranding of Bally Sports would take effect today, October 21. That’s exactly what has now happened with the Bally Sports website now redirecting visitors to the new FanDuel Sports Network website.

Likewise, all of the RSNS available through Bally Sports have now been rebranded as well. The list of rebranded FanDuel Sports Network are as follows:

  • FanDuel Sports Network Detroit
  • FanDuel Sports Network Florida
  • FanDuel Sports Network Great Lakes
  • FanDuel Sports Network Kansas City
  • FanDuel Sports Network Indiana
  • FanDuel Sports Network Midwest
  • FanDuel Sports Network North
  • FanDuel Sports Network Ohio
  • FanDuel Sports Network Oklahoma
  • FanDuel Sports Network SoCal
  • FanDuel Sports Network South
  • FanDuel Sports Network Southeast
  • FanDuel Sports Network Southwest
  • FanDuel Sports Network Sun
  • FanDuel Sports Network West
  • FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin.

For now, it doesn’t look like subscribers to any of these RSNs, either through the standalone streaming service or a live TV package, should expect any major changes other than the new name. However, that may change in the future.

In addition to the exclusive naming rights of the RSNs, the commercial partnership between Diamond Sports Group and FanDuel includes the following:

  • Linear and digital media placement and integration opportunities across all live NBA, NHL and MLB games on FanDuel Sports Network;
  • Shared commitment to explore a unified DTC app experience with the ability to syndicate FanDuel TV programming across FanDuel Sports Network, including studio programming like “Up & Adams,” “Run It Back” and FanDuel TV’s live rights programming;
  • FanDuel to have reseller designation for Diamond’s DTC product; and additional economic and equity elements

The original announcement from last week also confirmed that “additional partnership elements and collaborations” will follow in the coming months.
