FanDuel Sports Network, the rebranded Bally Sports service, has confirmed consumers will soon be able to pay as little as $6.99 to watch a single NBA or NHL game.
The Bally Sports service was officially rebranded as FanDuel Sports Network last month, with the change visible for subscribers to the standalone Bally Sports streaming service and those who receive a Bally Sports RSN through their live TV package.
At the time of the rebranding, there were no changes made to the existing price, and no additional pricing options announced.
That will change beginning Dec. 5, when the new single-game option is set to become available to consumers. Once available, sports fans will have the option to pay and watch an individual game without also having to pay for a monthly or annual subscription to watch their favorite team.
“The addition of single-game pricing allows fans to now catch their local NBA and NHL teams on a game-by-game basis, enhancing the flexibility of our offering. This is yet another example of how we remain committed to delivering an array of viewing options and features to make it easier for our viewers to watch their favorite teams,” said Michael Schneider, Chief Operating Officer, Direct-to-Consumer, FanDuel Sports Network.
With the price of individual games starting at $6.99, some sports fans may find they are still better off signing up for a monthly or season pass, depending on how many games they plan to watch in a given month.
