CBS Sports Golazo Network has officially gone live in the United States, providing sports fans with another way to watch soccer content online, and for free. Here’s everything you need to know to get started.

First off, CBS Sports Golazo Network is a completely free streaming service. There is no subscription available and users don’t need to create an account to access the service.

Speaking of which, CBS Sports Golazo Network is more of a channel than a service. This does also mean that, depending on a home’s existing streaming setup, soccer fans might not need to worry about downloading any additional apps.

How to watch CBS Sports Golazo Network

CBS Sports Golazo Network is now offered as a channel that can be accessed through the CBS Sports mobile app. In addition, the channel can also be watched through Paramount Plus by accessing the live section and then filtering the channel list by sports.

For those without access to the CBS mobile app or a paid Paramount Plus subscription, CBS Sports Golazo Network can also be watched for free through Pluto TV. Similar to Paramount Plus, Pluto TV users can simply filter the channel list by Sports to quickly find the channel.

As is the case with most streaming services, it is also possible to watch CBS Sports Golazo Network by visiting the CBS Sports website on a browser-supported device. Once again, those visiting the website won’t need to sign up or log in.

What you can watch on CBS Sports Golazo Network

The new Golazo Network channel from CBS Sports has specifically been created with soccer in mind, so sports fans shouldn’t expect access to other sports on this channel.

When it comes to soccer, CBS Sports Golazo Network is being marketed as “a first-of-its-kind, 24-hour, direct-to-consumer digital network in the U.S.” due to its “unparalleled coverage of all the top domestic and international competitions.”

What that means in real terms will become clearer over time. However, the service is launching with access to plenty of relevant soccer competitions and events.

In addition to exclusive UEFA Champions League coverage, CBS Sports Golazo Network will also cover action from UEFA Europa League, Italian Serie A, NWSL, Campeonato Brasileirão Série A, Scottish Professional Football League, and Argentina Liga Profesional de Fútbol.

As part of the launch period, 12 live matches will also be available to watch for free on the network during its first two weeks.

Launch periods aside, CBS Sports Golazo Network is designed as a 24-hour channel so soccer fans will be able to tune in at any time and catch some soccer. In the mornings (7-9 a.m. ET.) This includes a Morning Footy show with highlights, interviews and coverage of the main soccer storylines of the day.

Soccer fans will also be able to tune in to live programming before and after matches from most major competitions.

CBS Sports Golazo Network’s tactical cam

What might be of additional interest to soccer fans is that Golazo Network also offers access to a live second-screen ‘tactical cam’ for some events, including Champions League and Italian Serie A matches during the first two weeks.

This tactical cam feed offers more of a birds nest view of a match rather than the typically feed that jumps from camera to camera during play.

Overall, CBS Sports Golazo Network seems like it will work as a good companion service for those with access to a live TV streaming package, as well as a good option for those without a live TV plan but looking to keep up with the latest happenings in the world of soccer.
