DirecTV Stream is currently offering $10 off the monthly cost when signing up, with the discount applying to the first three months of a subscription. DirecTV Stream is one of the more expensive live TV streaming services, so the option to save on the cost could be a good way for consumers to give this live TV service a try at a slightly cheaper rate than usual.
Compared to other services, DirecTV Stream does offer plenty of choice. In total, there are four main plans to choose from with each one coming with a different number of channels. However, the price of the cheapest plan is $69.99 per month. For those upgrading to the best plan with the most channels, the cost comes in at $149.99 per month.
Consumers interested in giving DirecTV Stream a try can currently save $10 on the cost. What’s more, the $10 discount is being offered on all of the various DirecTV Stream plans, including the cheapest Entertainment plan. In addition, consumers signing up to DirecTV Stream can still take advantage of a 5-day free trial. The deal is live now and can be accessed by heading over to the DirecTV Stream website and selecting one of the four available plans. According to DirecTV Stream, the $10 off promotion will remain available up until April 4th, 2022.
In terms of the caveats, the main one is that the deal only applies to the first three months. After that, the subscription will revert back to the usual higher rate. As automatic billing is in effect, subscribers will need to cancel their DirecTV Stream subscription before the end of the third month if they want to avoid paying the higher price. While this deal is mainly aimed at new subscribers, it does look like those who previously had a DirecTV Stream/AT&T TV subscription are also eligible for the deal as well. However, that is only as long as the previous subscription was not ended within the last twelve months.
In general, the wide selection of channels does make DirecTV Stream a good option to consider. However, the service is somewhat limited on device support so consumers will want to make sure their preferred smart TVs and streaming players are compatible before signing up to DirecTV Stream, even at a discounted rate.
