DirecTV will be celebrating its 31st anniversary with some special rewards and perks, including donations and sweepstakes. Although DirecTV originally launched on June 17, 1994, DirecTV will be celebrating the anniversary throughout the month of June.
Firstly, DirecTV will be hosting a charitable contribution program where all DirecTV Perks tokens spent by members will count towards a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charity (RMHC).
Depending on how many tokens are spent, the contribution could total as much as $50,000.
Throughout the month, DirecTV will also be hosting a number of sweepstakes where members could win an Amazon, Sonos or Uber Eats eGift card, or even a special ‘Backyard Movie Bundle.’
Here’s a rundown of the sweepstakes and prizes:
- $1,000 Amazon eGift Card: Upgrade your home or treat yourself with a chance to win one of five Amazon eGift Cards. Enter to win by June 30.
- $1,000 Sonos eGift Card: Enhance your audio experience with a chance to win one of five Sonos eGift Cards. Enter to win by June 30.
- $800 Backyard Movie Bundle: Get ready for the ultimate summer hangout! Five winners will receive a projector kit and a $500 Uber Eats gift card. Enter to win by June 30.
DirecTV Partners With Baskin-Robbins Again
Similar to last year, DirecTV has again partnered with Baskin-Robbins to celebrate its anniversary. Unlike last year, however, DirecTV isn’t offering the chance to win a Baskin-Robbins gift card every day throughout June.
Instead, this year members can simply exchange 200 tokens for a $5 Baskin Robbins gift card.
As a reminder, DirecTV customers looking to take advantage of any of these limited-time perks and rewards will need to sign up for the company’s DirecTV Perks program.
DirecTV Perks is a completely free program and allows members to collect tokens which can then be redeemed for various rewards throughout the year, including merch and movie rental discounts.
