Disney Plus Remove From Continue Watching

Disney+ now offers the ability to remove titles from the Continue Watching list, making it easier for users to better manage their library. According to Disney, this has been a a much-anticipated feature for the streaming service’s global subscriber base.

With the ability now available, Disney+ subscribers no longer have to worry about an ever-growing Continue Watching list that’s filled with movies and shows they’ve either already watched or added by accident.

Likewise, the new feature also now makes it possible for Disney+ users to completely reset their Continue Watching list by removing each title one by one.

For those interested in immediately cleaning up their list, there are two ways to remove content from Continue Watching, and the first is directly through the Continue Watching row. If opting for this method, navigate to a title, press and hold the Enter button on the remote and then select Remove.

The other way to remove content is from a title’s Details page. If using this method, a new Remove icon is now visible on the right side of the screen. Selecting Remove after clicking on this icon will remove the title from the Continue Watching list.

Regardless of which method is used, removing a title from Continue Watching won’t delete watch progress for the title. As a result, Disney+ subscribers can return to a movie or series at any point and resume where they left off.

It is worth noting that there are some limitations with the new feature. Most notably, the ability to remove titles from Continue Watching is currently only available through the Disney+ website and on Apple TV and iOS devices.

For those currently using a different device, Disney says the ability to remove titles from Continue Watching is set to expand to more platforms in the coming weeks.

Another limitation is that live events cannot be removed from Continue Watching. Instead, live events will automatically disappear from the list after they’ve concluded.
