ESPN has increased the price of its Select and Unlimited plans, adding as much as $2/mo depending on the plan. The price increase impacts all direct-to-consumers subscribers, including new and existing, as well as monthly and annual.
What You Need to Know
- ESPN is raising the standalone prices for both its Select and Unlimited sports streaming plans.
- The new pricing has already taken effect for new signups and begins for existing members on September 17, 2026.
- While Select-related Disney bundles are increasing as well, Unlimited bundle and live TV package customers are currently unaffected.
ESPN Unlimited officially launched in August of last year, as an all-inclusive option for fans of the sports network. At the same time as launching Unlimited, ESPN also rebranded its ESPN+ plan as ESPN Select, and then increased the price of Select in October.
One year on from the launch, and ESPN Select (formerly ESPN+) and ESPN Unlimited have now increased in price. For ESPN Unlimited, this marks the first time the premium tier has encountered a price increase.
The increase has already taken effect for new subscribers signing up to either plan. Existing subscribers are due to see their price increase beginning September 17, 2026.
Here’s an overview of the latest round of streaming price increases.
| PLAN | OLD PRICE | NEW PRICE |
|---|---|---|
| ESPN Select | $12.99/mo $129.99/yr | $13.99/mo $139.99/yr |
| ESPN Unlimited | $29.99/mo $299.99/yr | $31.99/mo $319.99/yr |
ESPN Select Bundles Also Increasing in Price
With the price of an ESPN Select subscription having increased in price, bundles that include Select have now increased as well.
For example, the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle has increased by $2 a month, up from $19.99 to $21.99/mo, and the Disney+, Hulu, ESPN Select Bundle Premium plan has increased by the same amount, up from $29.99 to $31.99 a month.
Since the launch of ESPN Unlimited, many live TV providers have opted to include an ESPN Unlimited subscription with their live TV packages at no additional cost.
As these customers are not technically paying for ESPN Unlimited (or Select in some cases), there is currently no indication they will be impacted by this latest round of price increases.
Likewise, those signing up to a Disney Bundle that includes ESPN Unlimited (standard or Premium) are unaffected by the latest price increase.
