EverPass Media has partnered with Amazon Prime Video to distribute Thursday Night Football to commercial venues, including bars, restaurants, and hotels. The new agreement begins with this week’s Thursday Night Football games, and also includes this year’s Black Friday game, as well as Prime Video’s exclusive Wild Card Playoff game.
EverPass Media was formed last year as part of a joint venture between the NFL and RedBird Capital Partners. With EverPass also the exclusive commercial rights holder of NFL Sunday Ticket, the addition of Thursday Night Football further expands its NFL options.
“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Prime to add Thursday Night Football to our live sports catalogue and making it available for commercial businesses to stream,” said Alex Kaplan, CEO of EverPass Media. “With the addition of this package to our portfolio, we’re excited to offer our commercial business owners even more choice and control over the sports content that captivates audiences and fuels their success.”
The agreement with Prime Video builds on a number of previous deals EverPass has struct with other services and leagues. Last year, for example, EverPass agreed a deal with NBCUniversal to distribute Peacock’s exclusive sports in bars and other commercial businesses.
More recently, EverPass agreed a deal to distribute both NFL Sunday Ticket and Peacock Sports Pass to Charter‘s Spectrum Business customers.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to being the go-to provider for premium sports content for businesses, ensuring that our customers have the very best at their fingertips that allows them to innovate the out-of-home viewing experience and drive growth,” Kaplan added.
