Fubo ended the fourth quarter of 2025, and the year as a whole, with 6.2 million subscribers in North America. If that sounds like a dramatic increase over the final three months of the year, that’s because it is. And the reason for the increase is Hulu Live TV.
Key Takeaways
- Fubo reported a combined subscriber total of 6.2 million in North America, reflecting the merger of Fubo and Hulu Live TV under Disney’s majority ownership.
- The combined services added roughly 200,000 subscribers in Q4 2025, but their year‑over‑year total dipped slightly from 6.3 million.
- Fubo’s international (ROW) subscribers declined, falling to 335,000 from 342,000 in calendar Q3 2025 and 362,000 in calendar Q4 2024.
Since The Walt Disney Company acquired a 70% stake in Fubo, the plan has been to bring the Fubo and Hulu Live TV services closer together. In terms of subscribers, the combining of the two services has now taken full effect.
In its fourth calendar quarter (Q1 Fiscal 2026) results, Fubo confirmed it closed the most recent quarter with 6.2 million subscribers, a number that reflects the subscriber bases for both Fubo and Hulu Live TV.
With the subscriber bases of the two live TV services now being reported together, it remains unclear exactly how well each service performed during the final three months of the year.
Fubo closed calendar Q3 2025 with 1.63 million paid subscribers in North America, while Hulu ended the same quarter with 4.4 million subscribers.
Based on these numbers, the two services ended the third quarter with just over 6 million combined subscribers.
As a result, the two services saw an increase of around 200,000 North American subscribers during the fourth quarter of 2025.
“2025 marked a year of transformation for Fubo as we completed a monumental business combination with Hulu + Live TV,” said David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of Fubo. “We set out on a mission to enhance consumer choice and expand programming flexibility by tapping into our collective strengths. We remain focused on our consumer promise to deliver value and choice across our flagship Fubo and Hulu + Live TV Pay TV brands.”
On a year over year basis, the combined North American subscriber bases for the two services actually decreased, down from 6.3 million at the start of 2025 to 6.2 million at the start of 2026.
Unlike Hulu Live TV, Fubo also operates in select markets outside of North America, and the live TV service ended the most recent quarter with a total of 335,0000 Rest of World (ROW) subscribers.
This reflects a decrease on the 342,000 reported for the third calendar quarter of 2025, and a larger decline on the 362,000 ROW subscribers reported for the fourth calendar quarter of 2024.
