  • With 1.63 million paid users, Fubo added 275,000 subscribers in the third quarter, reaching its highest-ever third quarter subscriber count in North America.
  • The launch of the cheaper Fubo Sports plan and Pay-Per-View platform contributed to subscriber growth and marked the second consecutive quarter of positive Adjusted EBITDA.
  • While North America saw increases, Fubo’s Rest of World business saw a 9.5% year-over-year drop in subscribers and a 3.2% decline in revenue.

Considering Fubo closed out the second quarter of 2025 with 1.356 million paid subscribers, the live TV service managed to add around 275,000 subscribers in North America between July and September.

The number also marks an increase of around 18,000 on the 1.631 million subscribers reported by Fubo for the third quarter of 2024.

Fubo reported total North America streaming business revenue for the third quarter as $368.6 million, down 2.3% year-over-year (YoY).

Fubo’s third quarter 2025 results reflect the strength of our execution and the growing demand for flexible, fan-first streaming,” said David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of Fubo. “We delivered record third quarter subscriber growth in North America and our second consecutive quarter of positive Adjusted EBITDA—clear proof our model is working.”

One of the factors that appears to have helped Fubo hit a record third-quarter subscriber high was the new Fubo Sports plan.

Launched in early September, Fubo sports offers sports fans a way to sign up to a live TV package primarily focused on sports and news at a cheaper price than usual.

New offerings like our Fubo Sports skinny service and Pay-Per-View platform are giving consumers more choice and control than ever. And, as we combine with the Hulu + Live TV business, we’re poised to create a next-gen Pay TV company – built for scale, personalization and profitability,” Gandler added.

In terms of the Rest of World, Fubo ended the third quarter of this year with 342,000 paid subscribers.

Unlike North America, this represented a decline of around 9.5% when compared to the 378,000 reported for the third quarter of the year before.

With Fubo previously reporting 349,000 for the second quarter of this year, the 342,000 third-quarter ROW subscribers also reflected a quarter-over-quarter decrease of around 7,000.

Fubo confirmed a total Rest of World revenue of $8.6 million, down 3.2% on a year-over-year basis.
