Fubo ended the third quarter of 2024 with 1.61 million subscribers in North America. The latest subscriber update confirms around 160,000 North American subscribers were added during the most recent quarter.

In addition to the quarter over quarter increase, the subscriber base increased on a year over year basis as well. Considering Fubo ended Q3 2023 with 1.47 million North American subscribers, Fubo added around 140,000 over the past twelve months.

In terms of the rest of the world (ROW), Fubo ended the third quarter of the year with 378,000 paid subscribers.

In contrast to the North American market, this represented a decrease on the 399,000 subscribers reported for the second quarter of the year. It also reflected a decline on the 411,000 subscribers reported for the third quarter of last year.

Looking forward to the end of the year, Fubo now expects to close out 2024 with between 1,665,000 and 1,705,000 paid subscribers in North America, and between 345,000 and 355,000 paid ROW subscribers.

We continue to prioritize the delivery of a high-quality, innovative and frictionless experience for our users that includes personalization across content and price. This is what streaming should be, and it’s what compelled us to file our antitrust lawsuit against Disney, Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery. We continue our fight to ensure American consumers have the streaming experience they deserve,” said David Gandler, co-founder and CEO, Fubo.

In terms of revenue, Fubo reported $377 million for North America, up 21% YoY and an Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) of $85.64, up 2.5% YoY. ROW revenue was reported as $8.9 million, up 6% YoY, along with an ARPU of $7.50, up 7.5% YoY.
