Fubo has expanded its variety of payment options with the addition of Amazon Pay on Fire TV devices, offering both new and existing subscribers another way to pay for their live TV package. While the company has not publicly announced the new payment option, Fubo has confirmed Amazon Pay support is now live.
For those signing up directly, Fubo has always offered support for most major credit and debit cards. With Amazon Pay also now available, Fire TV users with an Amazon account can easily sign up and pay for Fubo using the existing payment method they have on file with Amazon.
As a reminder, Fubo recently introduced a new Essential plan to its selection of live TV packages. While priced the same as the Pro plan, Essential allows new subscribers to sign up to a live TV package that isn’t subject to regional sports fees, potentially lowering the monthly cost by as much as $16.
Fubo is also still running a promotion which discounts the cost of the first month for new subscribers. The exact discount depends on the plan chosen but can lower the cost of the first month by as much as $35.
As an example, the new Essential plan is currently discounted to $44.99 for the first month, $35 lower than the usual $79.99 monthly cost. Likewise, the Pro plan (with RSNs) is down to $49.99 for the first month, $30 lower than its usual $79.99 monthly price.
