Fubo will be adding Maximum Effort Channel to its base plan channel lineup on June 20, 2023, as part of a wider multi-year deal between the live streaming service and Maximum Effort.

Maximum Effort is a digital marketing agency that also makes movies, tv series, and other content. What is probably more notably, however, is that the ad agency was co-founded by Hollywood’s very own Ryan Reynolds.

In March of this year, fuboTV rebranded as Fubo, and as part of the rebrand, launched a new ‘Built By Sports Fans’ ad campaign. The ad agency that co-produced that campaign was Reynolds’ Maximum Effort.

The same announcement also confirmed this was the start of a multi-year partnership between Fubo and Maximum Effort, and that a new linear Maximum Effort Channel was set to be added to Fubo at some point in the future.

Today, Fubo confirmed that June 20 is when the Maximum Effort Channel will officially be available to stream via Fubo. The arrival of the channel will also mark the debut of the partnership’s first original show – Bedtime Stories with Ryan.

Bedtime Stories with Ryan is a show where, as you can imagine, Ryan Reynolds will read you a bedtime story while you try to fall asleep. Or, according to Ryan in the promotional video below, try not to fall asleep.

Bedtime Stories with Ryan is a 15-episode series and is the first original show announced by Maximum Effort Channel. “We’re so happy to create a program with the express goal of putting people to sleep. This show has actually been a dream of mine for a while,” said Reynolds.

In addition to Bedtime Stories with Ryan, Maximum Effort Channel will also host a number of original and classic TV and movies as well. This is in addition to “some surprising content breaks – made for maximum comfort.”

For those not currently signed up to Fubo, it is worth noting that Maximum Effort Channel is also scheduled to become available on “additional streaming platforms” in the future. Which ones, however, is currently unknown.
