Back in May, and just ahead of Google I/O 2025, Google confirmed plans to begin rolling out Gemini as a Google Assistant replacement on Google TV players and smart TVs. At that time, Google confirmed the plan was for the updated assistant to arrive later in the year.
While now rolling out on Google TV, Gemini is currently only available on the TCL QM9K series (from today). According to Google, Gemini will become available on more devices throughout the rest of this year, including the Google TV Streamer and Onn 4K Pro.
Other Google TV devices expected to gain access to Gemini this year include the 2025 Hisense U7, U8, and UX models, and 2025 TCL QM7K, QM8K, and X11K models.
