Google TV Freeplay, the free service offered on Google TV devices, just received some new FAST channels. The latest additions unlock access to even more comedy, reality and mystery content.

  • Google has added four new FAST channels to its Google TV Freeplay lineup this week.
  • The latest additions unlock access to more comedy, reality, mystery, and action programming.
  • As is the case with all Google TV Freeplay channels, the latest additions are only available on Google TV devices in the U.S.

Google TV Freeplay is available at no cost to those with access to a Google TV device, including the Chromecast with Google TV and the Google TV Streamer.

While the service brings together FAST channels from different sources, including Pluto TV, Tubi, and Plex, Google also offers access to a selection of its own ‘Google TV‘ channels.

That list has grown a little more this week, thanks to addition of the following four FAST channels.

  • Comedy Hits: Binge iconic sketches on the SNL Vault or classic episodes of Saved by the Bell.
  • Reality Favorites: Get your fill of drama with the Real Housewives Vault and E! Keeping Up.
  • Gripping TV: Solve a mystery with American Crimes or get spooked with Universal Monsters.
  • Action & Sports: Get your pulse racing with American Ninja Warrior and Universal Action.

All of these new channels can be accessed in the Live section of the Google TV interface, under Google TV Freeplay, and take the total number of channels available up to 239.

As is the case with the existing Google TV Freeplay channel lineup, the new FAST channels are only available on Google TV devices used in the U.S.

The latest additions follow the arrival of a bunch of kids channels earlier this year, including Baby Shark TV, Sonic The Hedgehog and Teletubbies.
