Hallmark has confirmed its new Hallmark+ streaming service will officially launch on September 10, 2024. While the company first announced the new service in July, it previously hadn’t confirmed exactly when the streaming service would become available.
In addition to confirming the Sept. 10 launch date, Hallmark has also announced that the new service will be home to some new shows, including The Chicken Sisters and Celebrations With Lacey Chabert. Hallmark+ will also be home to a selection of exclusive movies, including all three installments of the Love On The Danube collection, as well as three new The Jane Mysteries movies.
As previously confirmed, Hallmark+ isn’t exactly a new service. Instead, it will launch as a rebranded version of the existing Hallmark Movies Now service and app. The revamp will also result in a price change as well, as Hallmark+ will cost $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year. That’s $2 more each month and $20 more each year than the current price of Hallmark Movies Now.
In addition to access to the streaming service, Hallmark+ subscribers will also receive additional perks as part of a membership rewards program. Perks will range in value and include free greeting cards, monthly coupons and surprise gifts, among other things.
