HIDIVE quietly increased in price last month. As the price increase took effect at the beginning of July, both new and existing subscribers are now paying the higher rate.

Following this latest price increase, a standard monthly HIDIVE subscription now costs $7.99/mo, $1 more than it did before.
The increase is not just for monthly subscribers as an annual subscription now cost $79.99/yr, $10 more than before.
As far as Streaming Better understands, the price increase took effect on July 1, 2026. This was the date that the website updated and new subscribers began paying the new, higher rate.
As is typically the case with existing subscribers, they were given a one-month grace period. However, with that month now up, existing subscribers have also now started paying the higher rate.
The price increase for existing customers kicked in on Friday (July 31), so the exact date an individual subscriber will begin paying the higher amount will depend on their next billing date in August.
If subscribed to the annual plan, the price increase will take effect whenever their annual plan renews during the next 12 months. At the new yearly rate, annual subscribers pay around $6.66 a month on average, up from $5.83 before.
HIDIVE did send out emails to affected customers early last month advising them of the change, so many may already be aware of the new rates and when their price increases.
Three Price Increases in Three Years
The latest increase marks the third year in a row that the cost of a HIDIVE subscription has increased in price.
Back in March 2024, the monthly subscription increased from $4.99 to $5.99. Then, in July 2025, the cost of a subscription increased again. This time up from rom $5.99 to the recent $6.99/mo rate.
Following three separate price increases over the past three years, subscribers have seen the cost of their monthly subscription increase by $3. That’s a huge 60% increase since the beginning of 2024.
