LG smart TV users utilizing the company’s free LG Channels service now have access to more Asian content, thanks to the addition of Amasian TV. Considering the Pan-Asian live TV service only launched in September, LG has moved quickly to integrate Amasian TV channels.
Along with Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Roku, and Samsung smart TVs, LG smart TVs already offered support for the Amasian TV app. However, the new channels now make it possible for LG TV users to access Amasian TV content without having to leave the LG Channels app.

While it is unclear exactly how many channels are being made available through LG Channels, Amasian TV has some grand ambitions in terms of becoming the go-to destination for pan-Asian entertainment. ODK Media previously confirmed that the initial goal of the service is to offer more than 100 channels by the end of this year.
LG Channels is also continuously in the process of building out its library of free-to-access live channels and content. The service is now home to more than 300 FAST channels spanning genres including movies, TV shows, news, sports, and kids.
Earlier this month, LG added a limited-time holiday FAST channel to its LG Channels lineup. The new LG Channels Holiday Showcase channel provides users with access to a variety of Holiday content, including festive classics, feel-good films, and family-friendly favorites.
