The Monumental+ and Altitude+ apps are now available on Comcast‘s Xfinity and Xumo platforms. With the apps now available, Xfinity and Xumo device users now have another way to stream Monumental Sports Network and Altitude Sports content, including live games, behind-the-scenes content, and additional programming.
Both of these apps are powered by ViewLift, and it is ViewLift that has confirmed this latest distribution expansion. The expanded support makes ViewLift-powered apps available on a variety of Xfinity and Xumo devices, including Xfinity X1, Xfinity Flex, Xumo TV, and Xumo Stream Box.
Following its rebrand from NBC Sports Washington to Monumental Sports Network in late 2023, the Monumental+ service launched in September 2024. A subscription costs $19.99 a month and offers sports fans a way to watch Washington Capitals, Wizards, and Mystics games.
Launched in October of last year, Altitude Sports’ Altitude+ direct-to-consumer service costs $19.99 a month and provides subscribers with access to Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche games.
With both apps now available on Xfinity and Xumo platforms, even more homes will have another way to pay for and stream their local team’s games and related programming.
“We’re excited to extend Monumental+ and Altitude+ to fans through Comcast’s Xfinity and Xumo devices,” said Rick Allen, CEO of ViewLift. “This milestone reflects our commitment to delivering premium content with unmatched accessibility and user experience.”
