Netflix is making it easier for iPhone and iPad users to download entire seasons through the addition of a new ‘Season Download’ button. According to Netflix, the ability to download full seasons with just one tap has been a much-requested feature by iOS users.
With the new feature now available, iPhone and iPad users will find the option to download an entire season next to the Share option on a show’s display page. Once tapped, the full season will begin downloading automatically in the background, removing the need to manually download each episode.
Once the whole season has been downloaded, it, along with any other downloaded content, can be found in the Downloads section under the My Netflix tab.
The addition of the new feature brings the iOS experience more in line with Android, as Android mobile users already had the option to download full seasons with one tap.
For iOS users now interested in giving the new feature a try but unsure of where to start, Netflix says Squid Game Season 1, Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Squid Game Season 2, One Piece, and Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, are its top five most downloaded shows of all time.
As a reminder, the cost of a Netflix subscription increased earlier this month. Following the latest price increase, the Standard with ads plan now costs $7.99 a month, the Standard plan costs $17.99 a month, and the Premium plan costs $24.99 a month.
